Eating Disorder Consultations
Kimberly Davis-Coniglio MS, RD, CIMPH, LD has over 20 years experience in the treatment of eating disorders. She is also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, using targeted supplements and nutrition advice to help improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

There are many signs and symptoms of disordered eating. The following are a few examples of situations that may warrant a consultation:
Any of the above may indicate disordered eating, but a professional assessment is needed to make that determination. An initial consult provides you with an objective credible assessment of your nutritional intake and level of physical activity. Kimberly will discuss the assessment results with you at length and devote much time to your questions.
Eating disorders are serious conditions that are best treated by a team of professionals. Therefore, Kimberly often refers clients to therapists that specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. You may also be referred to a physician for a physical assessment.

- Your family and/or friends have been expressing concern about your eating behaviors, level of physical activity and/or your weight
- You think about food and/or weight much of the time
- You avoid eating at restaurants or feel uncomfortable eating at restaurants
- You avoid eating with others
- Your meals/snacks look the same or almost the same each day
- You only consume fat-free or low-fat food and condiments
- You feel guilty after consuming certain foods
- You sometimes feel "out of control" with food or feel that you binge or overeat
- You vomit, use laxatives or diuretics in an effort to lose weight or feel better about what you have eaten
- You exercise to feel better about eating or to give yourself permission to eat
- You feel the need to weigh yourself daily or several times a day
- You think of certain foods as "good" and others as "bad"
- You feel "fat" even though you have lost weight or know that you are at a healthy weight or underweight
- There are certain foods that you rarely or never allow yourself to eat
